Westport Flood Protection Scheme

Start with a guided 3D flight around the Westport Ring or Carters Beach, then move through the same spatial model in maps, live cross-sections, physically spaced long sections and scenario quantities. Six supplied design scenarios use a consistent physical-chainage model within each area and the same 2020 regional DEM; 45 georeferenced Westport visualisations add a photographic Base Case record. All of it lives in this single file.

The source design and geodatabase were prepared by Jordan Mandery. The viewer and rendering method were developed by Oliver Rose for this project. Each Westport visualisation starts with a georeferenced drone frame: the Base Case geometry is projected using the recorded camera position, azimuth, gimbal angle and field of view before the image is rendered. The interactive 3D, section, long-section and quantity comparisons remain tied to the supplied scenario geometry rather than to the rendered image.
